Christmas has come and gone. I got to spend a lot of time with family. I even got to hold baby Ally. She was born the week of Thanksgiving, but I just now got to hold her. She's absolutely adorable. I got a lot of presents, mostly ones I do not need. Though I do appreciate everything, I would prefer to get nothing, than have my family waste money on presents. There is nothing I need, except for some money. Other than that, I'm doing all right at the moment. I have plenty of clothes and shoes. Funny coming from a teenage girl. :)
I have started reading "New Moon," the second book in the Twilight series. I got all four of the books for Christmas from Uncle Dwight & Aunt Sunday and Uncle Doug & Aunt Denise. "New Moon" is pretty good thus far, though not as good as "Twilight." I think I am one of the only girls to read these books and not fall in love with Edward. He's a great character, and a wonderful boyfriend to Bella, but he's a vampire, plus a fictional character. Authors make characters like Edward to make girls swoon. I guess it didn't really work on me.
Tomorrow, I am baby-sitting my cousins, Dylan & Dalton. It's technically not baby-sitting considering Dylan is in middle school and Dalton is in fourth grade. I will more than likely be spending time on the Wii, while they are on the x-box. Their sister Delaney is taking friends ice-skating in Evansville for her birthday. And Delaney doesn't want her brothers tagging along. That's where I come in. I must watch the boys, so Aunt Denise can take care of all the little girls. I think I'll have a good time with the boys. I have watched them so many times. On Christmas night, we played Wii Fit, Dance-Dance Revolution, Disney Scene-It, and bowling on the Wii at their house. That was a lot of fun. I love getting to spend time with this family. We are a pretty tight group. I treasure every moment I get to spend with them.
