i basically ran around like a chicken with its head cut off. i barely had any time to sit down & breath.
i got up, and worked out from 715-815. then showered, and got ready for class.
i had class from 930-1045 (media writing).
at 11, i met with Jaime, who is one of our leaders with SCF. she's just here for the semester before she moves to tunisia in may. i spent spring break with her, and she's just wonderful. we just met up in ridgway, and just talked and got to pray together. she's making me really excited about the things God is going to do this semester. its going to be so fantastic. i'm just praying for God to bring lots of freshmen to let us minister to. i'm ecstatic :)
at 12:20, i met with Trevor, the intern to SCF, and Kaitlin, my roommate. we are doing a a discipleship thing, where we go through stories about Jesus and different stories in the Bible. we practice them, so we can talk to other people about Jesus. its fun.
i ran home at 1 to get lunch. i made a peanut butter sandwich, and ate it on the way to class.
i had class from 115-345 (design). it was fun, we've been working on a line project with markers. i finished mine in class yesterday. we started working on experimenting with pen & ink. it's not my favorite, but its not too bad. it's really messy, i had ink all over me when i got done.
i had a meeting at 345 with Dr. Strobel, my art history professor, and Becca, my partner for a project. we just had to make sure we were actually working on our project and had all the essential information needed. it was good, i'm really glad i have Becca as a partner, she's awesome. for our project, we're talking about the inner coffin of king tut. it should be interesting.
at 4, i went to Jaime's Bible study, "God's Heart for the Nations." it was really good. we were talking about tribals and other unreached people groups. my heart aches for all the people who have no idea who Jesus is. i would love to travel and go on missions to the 10/40 window and minister the many unreached people groups.
we had girls dinner at 530. there are so many new freshmen girls. its crazy how many people we can cram around one table. its always fun to meet new people and just talk about ridiculous things.
i went to the SCF house around 630 to put names in our database from the organization fair we had on monday. there were about 30 people that showed an interest in SCF, which is awesome! after i finished putting the names in the laptop, i talked with Jaime and Becky, Mark's wife. i got to share my story with Becky. and we just prayed and talked, and it was wonderful to be in the presence of such awesome women of God. i hope to be like them one day.
"Girls Gone Bible" was at 9. its our girls Bible study, via SCF. there weren't as many girls as there had been the previous week, but it was still good. we talked about grace. i love getting to hear people my age discuss such Biblical topics and share life stories with each other. its wonderful to know all those girls. God has truly blessed me with wonderful friends.
i went home and got in bed at 1020pm.
thus concludes one of the most wonderful days.
p.s. i have a job. i'm working at the Family Christian Stores. my first night was wednesday night. it was slow and hardly anyone came in, but its a good place to work. i work again tonight, so i'll be missing SCF, which is a bummer, but it's not going to happen again.
this post makes me very happy, evan! I bet you didn't know I creeped your blog :P
